About Well Pump Flow Test
The Well Pump Flow Test is performed to discover marginally producing wells and/or weak/defective pumps. This test provides crucial insights into the overall health and performance of a well-based water supply system.
During the Well Pump Flow Test, we perform a visual inspection of the entire system. This includes the wellhead and exposed casing, pressure tank, pressure switch, well pump control box, cistern, and any external pumps attached to the system as well as the electrical components of the system.
A 2-hour pumping of the well will be performed to provide a Gallons per Minute calculation of the pump. If the well appears to be running dry, we’ll perform a test to determine the well’s recovery rate in Gallons per Minute.
